Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. The epic will release in two parts. The first part is scheduled to be release on Diwali 2026 while the second part will be released on Diwali 2027. However, director Anurag Basu has recently spilled the beans on a different project that Ranbir was supposed to be a part of. He was earlier linked to the Kishore Kumar biopic directed by Anurag Basu. Reports later suggested that the role eventually went to Aamir Khan. Anurag Basu shared that he and Ranbir were eager to work together again, after Barfi and Jagga Jasoos.
