Ariana Madix is happy to watch a new group of Vanderpump Rules stars live the best days of their lives. "I watched the first two episodes, and I thought it was really fun," Madix, 40, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while attending The Voice season 28 live show red carpet on Monday, December 15. "[I'm] not sure why everyone's hating it." On December 2, season 12 of Vanderpump Rules premiered on Bravo with a whole new cast of SUR employees documenting their lives in and out of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant. While some fans were quick to question the show's ratings - something Andy Cohen isn't paying attention to - or compare the cast to the OG crew, Madix is hoping the newest group of stars savor the moment. 'The Voice' Winners Through the Years: Where Are They Now? "My advice to them is to just live every moment and have fun with it, truly," she told Us. Since its premiere, the Vanderpump Rules season 12 premiere delivered 2.6 million viewers across platforms growing triple digits from its initial linear-only ratings, and ranking above all new Bravo series launches in 2025. Putting ratings aside, Madix has had no problems having fun after her time on Vanderpump Rules came to an end after season 11. From hosting Love Island USA to guest starring on St. Denis Medical, the Something About Her owner remains booked and busy. This past week, she had the opportunity to team up with Dylan Efron to cohost The Voice's live finale preshow. "Everyone is just so talented," she told Us when discussing the season 28 finalists. "Each finalist is bringing something so different to the table, so it's really hard to compare." (On Tuesday, December 18, host Carson Daly announced Aiden Ross from Niall Horan's team was the winner.) When asked if competing on The Voice was on her bucket list, Madix joked, "If Carson ever wants to go on vacation and you need somebody to fill in, I totally would be down." While The Voice may be taking a break until a new season launches in February, the new season of Vanderpump Rules is just getting started. Earlier this month, Us caught up with some of the cast at the Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala. Todd Williamson/Bravo Despite some "negativity" surrounding the show, many SUR employees are focusing on the positive as their drama plays out on the small screen. "Honestly, the amount of negativity has just been overshadowed by all of the love, and it's been so surprisingly overwhelming to feel that," Audrey Lingle told Us on December 11. "Anything that anyone has said that is negative has just been put in the ground tenfold by the kindness that people have given us." Marcus Jordan admitted there's been "a lot of noise" surrounding the new season, which also includes his girlfriend, Kim Suarez. Midseason 2026 TV Schedule: See When Your Favorite Shows Will Air For now, he's not trying to get "wrapped up in the BS." "There's so much positive feedback and support that I've just been focused on that and the people that are here to enjoy and get to know us," he told Us. "I'm feeding into that, and I'm drowning out all the rest of it." Vanderpump Rules airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. The Voice: Battle of Champions premieres on NBC Monday, February 23, 2026.
