Four months after Brandon Blackstock died following a three-year battle with cancer, the "I'm A Survivor" singer dedicated a sweet tribute to him on what would've been his 49th birthday. "Happy birthday Brandon!" Reba, 70, wrote on her Dec. 16 Instagram post, which included a throwback photo of her and the music manager spending time together. "We love and miss you a bunch." Indeed, The Voice coach wasn't the only one who had a strong bond with Brandon. In the shot, his siblings Shawna, 52, Cassidy, 47, and half-brother Shelby, 35-who Reba shares with ex-husband Narval Blackstock-were also all-smiles as they embraced him. And true to their connection, the Happy's Place actor and her son were one of many celebrities who honored Brandon-who shared kids River Rose, 11, and Remington "Remy" Alexander, 8, with ex-wife Kelly Clarkson-after his death in August. Shelby continued in the heartfelt post, "Although it may annoy you, you'll have to watch me do it all just a little better, a little smoother, and-let's be honest-looking far more handsome than you ever could in the process. We will always miss you, Brandon, and we will never stop loving, remembering and celebrating you." Reba echoed the sentiment in the tribute's comments section, writing, "Very well said Shelby. In fact, the Reba alum has always stood proudly in her stepson's corner, including when he and Kelly confirmed their breakup in 2020. "Brandon's been my son forever it seems," she told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. "Although he's my stepson, I still love him like he's my total-my blood.
