They are parents to two young kids: Dakota, born in 2021, and Carson, born a year later. This week, Macaulay appeared on Josh Scherer's Mythical Kitchen podcast, where he gushed about how Brenda has positively impacted his life. I always wanted the kids and the whole works - I wanted that. And it was just starting to sink in, like, that is not gonna happen. You know, the way that I'm acting and the way that I'm conducting myself. Like, no self-respecting woman would have my children," he said. "She saw the best of me and it made me wanna be better," he said, adding, "I try to live up to her expectations, you know. I know I disappoint her sometimes, but I've never had that before, being believed in in that way." Reacting to the podcast online, several fans got emotional over Macaulay's candid comments. "Aw, that's really touching. It's nice to hear how someone can inspire you to be a better version of yourself," one person said, while another added, "I'm so glad he has been able to find the love he deserves."
