Donald Trump continues to get called out for his disturbing remarks about Rob and Michele Reiner. As we previously reported, the couple was found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home on Sunday, and their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, was arrested for their murders. Even Trump spoke out - but he did not have anything kind to say whatsoever. He made several disgusting remarks about the murders of Rob and Michele on Truth Social, all because the filmmaker has been outspoken against him: "A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS." Just sick! And his own MAGA supporters won't even defend him this time! They slammed his insensitive comments and called for him to delete the post, but what does he do instead, to make matters worse? Trump doubled down, calling Rob "a deranged person" whom he "was not a fan of" and "thought he was very bad for our country." (c) FayesVision/MEGA/WENN WTF! Rob and Michele were just brutally murdered, allegedly by their own son, and our own president can't even take a second to have an ounce of empathy and mourn their losses. He just made it all about himself and insulted someone instead. Absolutely heartless. Now, Jimmy Kimmel - who has been on the receiving end of Trump's hate - is coming forward to slam him. During his opening monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, the host blasted the Republican politician's reaction to all the tragedies this weekend, not just the murders. This includes the horrible mass shooting at Brown University and the terrorist attack at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach. Jimmy said: "What we need in a time like this - besides common sense when it comes to guns and mental healthcare - is compassion and leadership. We did not get that from our president, because he has none of it to give. Instead, we got a fool rambling about nonsense, we got a brief moment of respect for our friends in Australia, we got a brief moment of condolence, followed by a 'things happen' for the students at Brown. And for Rob and Michele Reiner, we got this post." Jimmy went on to read Trump's disturbing post about Rob and Michele's deaths before calling it "hateful and vile": "Just when you think he can't go any lower, he somehow finds a way to do that. His description of what happened, of course, is not at all what happened. This is exactly what I spoke about before, this rush to pin the tail on the donkey in pursuit of the Trump-friendly narrative - not to mention blaming his death on the fact that he is an outspoken liberal. Insulting someone who's just been murdered, who leaves children behind without having any idea of what actually happened... it's so hateful and vile." The comedian recalled that when his wife, Molly McNearney, showed him Trump's post, he did not think it was real. Oh, how wrong he was. Jimmy continued: "Even for him, that seemed like too much, but nothing is ever too much for him. ... That corroded brain is in charge of our lives. If you voted for that, it's ok to reconsider. It's perfectly fine." Due to his own experiences with Rob, Jimmy said he knows the director would want us all to keep calling out Trump's "atrocities," and he plans to do so: "And I will say, I know from my personal interactions with Rob Reiner that he would want us to keep pointing out the loathsome atrocities that continue to ooze out of this sick and irresponsible man's mouth. And so we're gonna do that over and over again until the rest of us wake up." Well said, Jimmy. Trump should feel ashamed of himself for the horrible way he reacted to the devastation that happened this weekend. This also feels like a good time to remind everyone that when Charlie Kirk was murdered, Kimmel condemned the murder and sent condolences to Erika Kirk.
