After nearly two decades, Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie reunited at their son Rocco Ritchie's art exhibition opening. On Monday, December 15, Rocco, 25, shared a photo of him and both of his parents at his "Talk is Cheap" show in London. "It's obvious why some people might hold judgement against me, I don't blame them," Rocco captioned his Instagram post. "However, I am proud to be who I am, but I'm even prouder to have both of my parents together in one room supporting me. The work should speak for itself, that's why the show was called 'Talk Is Cheap.'" Madonna, 67, who was married to Guy, 57, from 2000 to 2008, also shared photos from the event on her account, which did not feature her ex-husband. Madonna's Family Guide: Everything to Know About Her 6 Kids "Art has a unique way of bringing people together, whether you're in a theater watching a movie, a nightclub dancing to music or at an exhibition gathered around a painting, Art has a magical way of inspiring Human connection. ♥️," the "Material Girl" singer wrote via Instagram on Monday. "Thank you Rocco for creating this experience with Blood Sweat and Tears. Talk is Cheap - Indeed." Madonna started dating Guy in 1999 after meeting through mutual friends. They welcomed Rocco in August 2000 before tying the knot in December 2000. The pair later adopted son David, 20, in 2006. (Madonna previously welcomed daughter Lourdes with ex Carlos Leon in 1996.) After their divorce was finalized that same year, Madonna adopted daughter Mercy in 2009 and later twin daughters Stella and Estere in 2017. Meanwhile, Guy married wife Jacqui Ainsley and welcomed son Rafael, daughter Rivka and son Levi in 2011, 2012, and 2014, respectively. Earlier this year, Madonna revealed that she went through a very difficult time in her life during her custody battle with Guy. "I would say probably one of the most painful moments in my life where I honestly couldn't see the forest for the trees was when I went through a custody battle [over] my son," she explained on an episode of the "On Purpose With Jay Shetty" podcast in September. "Even though my marriage didn't work out - I mean, a lot of people's marriages don't work out, they marry the wrong people, they're not aligned, they're not meant for each other - [but] someone trying to take my child away from me was like, they might as well just kill me. That's really how I was thinking." Madonna Shares Rare Photo With All 6 of Her Kids Madonna noted that she was "on tour at the time" she was going through her custody dispute - and really struggled mentally. "I had to go on stage every night. I would just be lying on the floor of my dressing room sobbing," she recalled. "I really thought it was the end of the world. I couldn't take it. I just couldn't take it. But thank God I don't feel that way anymore." Following her difficult divorce, Madonna dated French model and dancer Brahim Zaibot from 2010 to 2013, choreographer Timor Steffens in 2014, dancer Ahlamalik Williams from 2019 to 2021 and Summer House's Josh Popper in 2023. Most recently, Madonna sparked romance rumors with footballer Akeem Morris after he was spotted in an Instagram post shared by the singer in July 2024. Nearly one year later, Madonna took to Instagram to celebrate Morris' 29th birthday. "Happy Birthday to my favorite Taurus ♉️@akkmorris," she wrote in May alongside a photo of the rumored couple with their arms wrapped around each other.
