Anthony Geary's husband, Claudio Gama, is in mourning following the death of his longtime partner. "It was a shock for me and our families and our friends," Gama shared with TV Insider on December 15, 2025. "For more than 30 years, Tony has been my friend, my companion, my husband." The General Hospital actor, who retired from the soap opera in 2015, died on December 14, 2025, as a result of complications from an operation three days prior. His official cause of death has yet to be revealed. He was 78. In recent weeks, Gama was posting photos alongside Geary in their Amsterdam home.
