Billy Crystal and Larry David were spotted at Rob Reiner's Brentwood home following the news of his death. Multiple outlets have confirmed that Crystal, 77, and David, 78 - who were Reiner's longtime friends and collaborators - arrived separately at the late actor and director's house on Sunday, December 14. Video footage obtained by ABC 7 on Sunday showed Crystal and his wife, Janice Crystal, walking down the street near Reiner's home. Janice, 76, could be seen wiping her eyes. A neighbor, meanwhile, told the news outlet that Billy "looked like he was about to cry," while at the house. News broke on Sunday night that two people - a man and a woman aged 78 and 68, respectively - were found dead at Reiner's home. TMZ was first to report the news, revealing that the Los Angeles Fire Department had been called on scene at around "around 3:30 p.m." local time to administer "medical aid." However, their ages matched Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner. A spokesperson for the Reiner family later confirmed that Rob and Michele were the deceased. "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner," a statement to Variety read on Sunday. "We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time." Us Weekly has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department for further comment. Rob's eldest daughter, Tracy Reiner, whom he shared with ex Penny Marshall, has since spoken out in a statement of her own. She had seen her father at a family gathering one day before his death. "I came from the greatest family ever," the 61-year-old told NBC News. "I don't know what to say. I'm in shock." Rob was the father to four kids. After his divorce from Penny in 1981, he moved on with Michele in 1989 and they shared sons Jake and Nick plus daughter Romy. LAPD Deputy Chief Alan S. Hamilton confirmed during a press conference on Sunday that Rob and Michele's deaths are part of an ongoing homicide investigation. She won an Academy Award for her role in Rob's 1990 thriller, Misery, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. "I loved Rob. He was brilliant and kind, a man who made films of every genre to challenge himself as an artist," she shared. "He also fought courageously for his political beliefs. He changed the course of my life. Michelle was a gifted photographer. She shot my beautiful photos for the Misery campaign. My heart breaks for them both. My thoughts are with their family."
