"People sometimes ask if growing up with the royal family was a bit like [the Julian Fellowes show] Downton Abbey," he said, referencing the PBS drama. "Yeah. But only one of those worlds is filled with drama, intrigue, elaborate dinners, marriages to Americans... and the other is a TV show." _ According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, King Charles III is likely to take the remark in stride. "This is pretty harmless and actually rather funny," he told Daily Express. "The King won't mind as it was light-hearted fun and we all love Downton Abbey." _ Despite their rocky relationship, King Charles III and Prince Harry met for tea earlier this year. However, a full reconciliation is reportedly on pause after the Spare author accused His Majesty's staffers of leaking information to the press. _ Prince Harry also appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he pretended to audition for a role in a Hallmark movie. When Stephen Colbert asked why the Duke of Sussex wanted to be in the film, Harry replied, "You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you're clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?" _ Richard Fitzwilliams believes Prince Harry's recent comedy routines signal boredom. "Harry seems at a loss as he isn't actually doing very much," he said. "Their [Harry and Meghan Markle's] Netflix contract has been altered, he has lost Sentebale [his charity], and whereas there is nothing wrong with a bit of humor, it's time he did something serious as he used to, when he was a working royal!"
