Lizzo scored another huge victory amid her lawsuit battle against three of her former backup dancers! Perezcious readers know that Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez, and Crystal Williams sued the 37-year-old singer back in 2023, claiming she fat-shamed them, sexually harassed, created an overall toxic work environment, and more. However, the trio just dropped one of their claims - even though the case is still moving forward! Related: Lizzo Hits Back HARD At Haters After 'Fat Joke' Goes Viral! According to TMZ on Friday, Lizzo's attorney, Marty Singer, and his partner, Melissa Y. Glass, revealed the fat-shaming allegations are officially out! Whoa! It was a massive part of Arianna, Noelle, and Crystal's sexual harassment lawsuit, but the two lawyers insist to the outlet that they always lacked merit. They explained that 18 witnesses denied the accusations in sworn declarations submitted to the court. Singer and Glass said the judge then determined Arianna was fired because she made "an unauthorized recording of Lizzo in a dancer meeting and sent it to Williams, who was no longer working on The Special Tour." Now, the dancers dropped their appeal of the dismissal of the fat-shaming claims. Wow. The more serious claims are still being hashed out in court. The three women previously accused Lizzo of subjecting them to nude entertainment shows in Amsterdam and Paris while on tour, which made them uncomfortable. In the court documents, they alleged the Truth Hurts artist pressured them to interact with sex performers at Bananenbar in Amsterdam. Lizzo denied the allegations. Her legal team said they are also "confident she will prevail in the case." The dancers' attorney, Ronald Zambrano, fired back in a statement: "We are maintaining that Judge Epstein was correct in his ruling denying Lizzo's special motion to strike the vast majority of claims they attacked, including false imprisonment and harassment. Of the couple of claims Judge Epstein did dismiss, the plaintiffs have taken a considered approach to leave that be. One would hope to see the same level of intellectual honesty and neutral assessment from the defendants, but that hasn't been the case thus far and it's disappointing." We'll have to wait and see how the rest turns out. But so far, things are swinging in Lizzo's favor. She must be thrilled right now. What are your reactions to the latest in the legal battle?
