[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] Brace yourselves for the latest disturbing and shocking twist about the murder of Rebecca Park... As we've been reporting, the 22-year-old disappeared on the night of November 3 from the home of her mother, Cortney Bartholomew, in Boon Township, Michigan, and was found dead three weeks later in Huron-Manistee National Forest. Rebecca was 38 weeks pregnant at the time of her disappearance. And when her body was discovered, she was no longer pregnant. Her baby was not even at the scene. The father of the baby was Rebecca's fiancé, Richard Falor, who police later arrested on two meth-delivery charges. At least that is what we all thought at the start of the case. However, her mother dropped a bombshell claim in an interview with law enforcement about the paternity of the child. So, Cortney, along with her husband and Rebecca's stepfather, Bradley Bartholomew (pictured above), was arrested for the murder and torture of her pregnant daughter. Prosecutor Johanna Carey claimed the stepdad "brought Rebecca to their home," and they "forced her into another vehicle and took her into the woods where they stabbed her" and "forced her to lie on the ground while they cut her baby out." She was alive during the attack. However, Rebecca and the baby died from the trauma. It is unknown when she exactly passed away. Investigators think she was still alive when the two allegedly left her in the woods that night. However, she allegedly changed her story after police told her that cell phone evidence placed her at the location where her daughter's body was found on the night of the murder. And what she spilled is jaw-dropping... During a second interview with the Wexford County Sheriff's Office, per a probable cause affidavit, Cortney came clean, saying she used a scalpel and cut the baby right out of Rebecca. OMG. The mom claimed she wanted to save the baby's life and give the child to Rebecca's fiancé/baby daddy, Richard, with whom she was having an affair. Yes, you read that right. Cortney had an affair with the baby daddy, and she wasn't the only one! The victim's own sister, Kimberly, who was arrested for tampering with evidence, lying to police, and filing a false report amid the case, did, too! It's so messed up, and it gets worse! According to the affidavit, she claimed Rebecca's stepfather is! WHAAATT! Cortney said: "Brad said it was his." The mother went on to claim that Bradley murdered Rebecca. He allegedly forced her step-daughter into a car and repeatedly stabbed her. Cortney said that is when she cut Rebecca's baby, a boy, from her womb. The affidavit added: "When she cut the baby out, Cortney said that Rebecca was still conscious and Bradly was holding the knife to her throat." Cortney allegedly told cops the baby wasn't breathing when she removed him. Afterward, Cortney recalled, they shoved Rebecca's body down an embankment and covered her in leaves. Why even do this heinous crime? Cortney claimed Bradley murdered Rebecca in retaliation after Richard reported the stepdad for violating a condition of his release as a convicted sex offender. Wow... WZZM 13 reported he spent eleven years in prison, from 2011 to 2022, for charges of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree of a person 13 through 15 years old, larceny, failure to report as a sex offender and possession of child sexual abuse material. Court records obtained by People indicate Bradley received a 180-day sentence for an unspecified violation related to his being on the sex offender registry. What the f**k... When it comes to the baby, Cortney said they placed him in a cooler and then a trash bag before discarding it in a dumpster. Police have yet to find the baby's remains, per NewsNation. The mom insisted she never stabbed Rebecca but said she most likely wouldn't have survived the injuries she sustained from cutting her open. What's more?
