Watch: Becca Tilley and Hayley Kiyoko Engaged After 7 Years of DatingBecca Tilley and Hayley Kiyoko have begun their rosy next chapter together. The couple is engaged-again!-after the Bachelor alum proposed to the singer-songwriter in Kyoto, Japan. "To forever & everywhere with you," Becca wrote on Instagram Dec. 12. "(She said yes!)" She got down on one knee in a garden full of fall foliage, asking for Hayley's hand with a princess-cut diamond ring. Becca's proposal comes five months after Hayley first popped the question during a romantic trip to Mallorca over the summer. The Lemonade Mouth star shared the big news Instagram in July, writing, "My dream girl said yes to forever..." Hayley, 34, also shared photos of them celebrating on the Spanish island and a close-up of her fiancée's shimmering engagement ring. As for Becca, 37, she gushed at the time, "Easiest yes I've ever said."readBecca Tilley and Hayley Kiyoko Are Engaged After 7 Years of DatingThe momentous occasion has been years in the making-seven years, to be exact. Funnily enough, when the pair first met at the release party for Hayley's debut studio album in 2018, Becca-who had vied for Chris Soules and later Ben Higgins' heart on The Bachelor-wasn't even looking for a relationship. "I wore a shirt that said, 'no time for romance,'" she recalled in an April 2024 Instagram post, celebrating their sixth anniversary. "Hayley ignored it."Amy Sussman/Getty ImagesDespite Becca's reservations, once she met the "Girls Like Girls" singer, the pair fell in love "so quickly." "It really is a cosmic mystery how someone can be a stranger in one moment," she continued, "and quickly become the most important person in the next." They kept their romance out of the public eye for the first four years, confirming their relationship in the Bachelorette-themed music video for Hayley's song "Girls Like Girls."InstagramAfter all, for Becca, it took some to feel ready to come out as queer and go public with their relationship, especially because of her reality television past. "Hayley and I had a lot of conversations about being public and being private," she explained in a May 2024 episode of the Made It Out podcast. "She was like, 'I am so proud, and I have worked so hard to be proud of who I am that I don't want to feel like I'm back in the closet.'"Photo by Amy Sussman/WireImageBecca continued, "And I'm like, 'I also don't want you to feel like that. But if you can kind of see my perspective, I'm navigating being a public person, and having a public platform, being from The Bachelor, it is really hard."But the hard launch was worth the wait. As Becca told E! News in 2022, "I never could've predicted the support and love that we've gotten." Keep reading to see which other stars got engaged this year.
