Obama will sit down with Jonathan Capehart to discuss her new book The Look. The special, called The Look: A Conversation with Michelle Obama, will run on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. on MS NOW. The special is also a continuation of MS NOW's efforts to build out a live events business. The interview will be held with a live audience of members of Blackbird House, a community co-working space in Los Angeles that supports and guides women of color and their allies. He has also hosted several specials for the cable news channel, including a similar special with former President Barack Obama in 2021. But the special also continues MS NOW's push into live programming. The company now has an annual live event each fall where it gathers all its star talent, and is expanding into other live interviews and experiences as well. The Obama interview is one of those pieces. Obama has been making the rounds in recent months to discuss her book, including a primetime special on ABC, and appearance on CBS' Late Show, and a number of podcast appearances, but her MS NOW special will mark a rare appearance on cable news, which carries with it a more political charged environment, but also a more engaged audience.
