Tyler Robinson, the man suspected of killing right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk, made his first in-person court appearance. Robinson, 22, wore a light blue button-up shirt and a multi-colored tie during the Thursday, December 11, appearance. The roommate asked Robinson, "You weren't the one who did it right?" to which Robinson allegedly confessed, "I am, I'm sorry." "Some hate can't be negotiated out." Later that month, Erika, 37, gave an emotional speech at Charlie's memorial where she publicly forgave her husband's killer. "I forgive him because it is what Christ did," Erika said during the service, which was held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. "The answer to hate is not hate." During Robinson's September hearing, a judge granted a pre-trial protective order for Erika, meaning that Robinson will be barred from contacting her in any way, according to People.
