Former University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore loved to gush about his wife, Kelli Moore, before allegations of an "inappropriate relationship" with a staff member led to his downfall. Sherrone, 39, and Kelli got married in 2015 and share three daughters: Shiloh, born in 2019, Solei, born in 2022, and Sadie, born earlier this year. "Happy three year anniversary to my life partner and best friend," Sherrone wrote via Instagram in July 2018. "So proud of you and all your accomplishments. "Hope everyone has blessed holidays! 🎄🎄" Sherrone's first-ever Instagram post came two days before that, celebrating the anniversary of his proposal to Kelli. "3 years ago today I made the best decision of my life to ask this beautiful woman @klenzmoore to be my wife!" Sherrone shared. "She is my life partner, rock & my best friend! I love you!" He added the hashtag "#marriedanangel" to his post. Sherrone was fired from his job as the head football coach at the University of Michigan on Wednesday, December 10, after an investigation found "credible evidence" that Sherrone had engaged in an "inappropriate relationship" with a staff member. "U-M head football coach Sherrone Moore has been terminated, with cause, effective immediately," athletic director Warde Manuel said in a statement. "Following a University investigation, credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior." In 911 dispatch audio released by TMZ Sports on Thursday, December 11, Kelli told authorities Sherrone was "suicidal" after losing his job. Sherrone Moore Thought People Were 'Out to Get Him' Before His Shocking Arrest On Wednesday afternoon around 4:10 p.m., Sherrone was taken into custody after allegedly "attacking" a woman at the address of a Michigan football employee. The woman claimed Moore had been "stalking her for months." Moore was booked into the Washtenaw County Jail on Wednesday evening, where he currently remains.
