Influencer Abby Howard received support from Jill Duggar after suffering a pregnancy loss. "Jill reached out at that time right after she heard the news," Howard, 27, said on the Wednesday, December 10, episode of her "Unplanned" podcast, while speaking with Duggar's cousin Amy Duggar King. "She had so many resources for us, which was really incredible." Abby and her husband, Matt Howard, announced in September that they lost their third baby. "All of the Duggars we know reached out at that time, which was very sweet," Abby said. "So much empathy and kindness. It was really sweet." (Abby and Matt, 27, have also had Jill's sisters Jinger Duggar and Joy-Anna Duggar on their podcast, both of whom previously had miscarriages themselves.) Jill Duggar and Family Bring Flowers to Stillborn Daughter's Grave Abby and Matt, who share two sons, shared their heartbreaking news via Instagram. "It is with very heavy hearts that we share about the loss of our baby girl born far too soon. At a routine pregnancy appointment, our doctor could not find a heartbeat," the Howards wrote in a statement shared in September. "Shortly after they sent us in for an ultrasound where the technician said words we will never forget, 'I am so sorry I do not have good news.'" They added, "That is when we got the gender reveal we never hoped for and also the news that our baby had a genetic condition that took her life around 17 weeks gestation. The news felt unimaginable. The grief is absolutely devastating, but we feel so much gratitude for the time that we did get to have with her and we still have hope. Hope has continued to show up for us in so many ways." Jill, 34, reacted in the comments section, writing, "💔😭 I'm so sorry! Praying for y'all." The Duggar Family's Emotional Quotes About Pregnancy Loss Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, have also experienced multiple pregnancy losses. "It is with heavy hearts that we announce the stillbirth of our beautiful baby girl, Isla Marie Dillard. Jill was 4 months pregnant (due in August) when we found out that our baby died in utero," Jill and Dillard, 36, captioned an April 2024 Instagram post. "From the moment we found out we were pregnant, we couldn't wait to meet our baby. Isla was much loved from the start, and her three big brothers were so excited to introduce her to their world." They concluded, "We appreciate your prayers as we continue to grieve and heal from the loss of our little Isla Marie." Jill Duggar Says She Has a 'Complicated' Relationship With Her Parents Jill and Dillard, who share three sons, have since been vocal about remembering their late daughter. "Today we remember our babies who went on before us and we link arms with all families who have lost a little one in pregnancy or soon after," Jill wrote via Instagram on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day in October. "May you be comforted in your grief and feel God near." As for Matt and Abby, they also don't want to forget their loss. "We lost our daughter two months ago, and I've been thinking about maybe getting a tattoo to remember her," Matt said on Wednesday. "I think that would be dope."
