Hilaria Baldwin made BANK off a photo of her child! In Tuesday's episode of The Viall Files, the Dancing with the Stars alum reflected on the challenges of raising seven children in the spotlight and her strategic plan to dodge the paparazzi these days! Many celebs have opted to shield their children from the public by not posting photos of them and keeping them away from high-profile events. Reflecting on the time she welcomed her first child, Carmen, in 2013, she expressed: "You know, twelve years ago was not a long time; it was very different back then." She initially tried to hide her kids' faces from the paparazzi - however, it only amounted in MORE craze! That's why she decided to take the power into her own hands: "I sold the first photos of the first few kids... And I donated all the money to charity, because it felt like a gross thing anyway." And she made A LOT OF MONEY! She recalled: "Our first child was $95,000. It felt meaningful. I donated it to an organization in Mallorca, where my family lives, for children who have been sexually abused. I wanted to say, 'OK, here's a system: Someone's going to make money off of this, whether it's somebody who's chasing me down the street, or this [where an outlet buys the photo].' There's money to be had, and I'm going to put that in a good place." Honestly, very clever! Rather than allowing someone else to profit from her child, she did it on her own terms and in a way that allowed her to share a photo she approved of, rather than one taken in uncomfortable and invasive circumstances. These kids are now all over the internet! Heck, the family even starred in their very own TLC reality show! SO much has changed - but there's a big reason for it. She detailed: "The business is changing, and I just started Instagramming them. It went from tons of people trying to get this photo to, I put it on there, and I'm not gonna get chased around as much. What I learned from somebody who is much more famous than me, is that the more you put the photos up, the lower the bounty is and the less harassment you get."
