The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback recently spoke out about the pressure he feels both personally and professionally, sharing that he's juggling too many footballs in every aspect of his life. "There's just a lot of things going on right now," he told reporters in a Dec. 10 press conference. "A lot of things going on right now." When asked whether these feelings apply to football or his life off the field, a typically private Joe candidly replied, "All of the above." And the 29-year-old-who sat out on most of the season after suffering a Grade 3 turf toe injury on his left foot during the second week of the season-kept it real about his frustrations with the sport that he loves. "If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it," he explained. "You know, I've been through a lot and if it's not fun then what am I doing it for? "All we can do is focus week to week and try to win games," he continued. "I don't think anybody's really thinking about the playoffs right now. In December 2024, the NFL pro made headlines when rumored girlfriend Olivia Ponton, 23, alerted authorities that Joe's home had been broken into. (Four men were ultimately charged in connection to a series of burglaries at athletes' homes.) Days later, Joe addressed the disadvantages of being in the public eye. "I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one," Joe said in a press conference at the time, per Sports Illustrated. "Way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that's all I got to say about that." In dealing with life in the limelight, Joe admitted that he's still getting his footing. "We live a public life and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy," he continued. "That has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it's the life that we choose. Doesn't make it any easier to deal with."
