Bollywood star Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court, asking for protection over the commercial use of his identity. He's seeking legal safeguards to prevent platforms, websites and online sellers from using his name, photos, voice or any recognisable part of his persona without permission. The matter is set to be heard on December 11 before Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, as reported by India Today. In his plea, Salman states that unauthorised use of his identity not only violates his personality rights but also misleads people by creating the impression of fake endorsements.
