The road to release for Vaa Vaathiyaar has taken yet another unexpected turn. The Madras High Court has now ordered that the film cannot be screened in any capacity until producer KE Gnanavel Raja settles a significant financial obligation linked to an older dispute. This ruling arrives at a crucial moment, as the makers were preparing for a December 12 release and building momentum with new promotional material. The legal action was initiated by petitioner Arjunlal Sundardas, whose claim was presented through the Official Assignee of the High Court.
