A mother and sister charged in the murder of pregnant Michigan woman Rebecca Park were allegedly sleeping with her fiancé and the biological father of her unborn child, according to People. Citing court documents from the tragic case, People reported that Richard Falor, the man engaged to mom-of-two Park - who was found murdered November 25 in an area of Manistee National Forest in South Branch - was having affairs with her sister, Kimberly Park, and her biological mother, Cortney Bartholomew. Kimberly, 21, Bartholomew, 40, and Falor, 43, have all been charged with Park's murder. (Falor was also booked on drug-related charges.) Rebecca, 22, was nearly nine months pregnant on November 3 when police allege she was killed. Authorities allege Cortney and her husband, Bradly Bartholomew, 47, lured her daughter to their home in Boon on November 3, and "tortured Park in an attempt to remove the unborn infant, resulting in the death of both," according to a statement from the Wexford County Prosecutor's Office. During interviews with police that followed the discovery of Rebecca's remains, Kimberly and Cortney both told investigators they were in relationships with Falor. (Court documents have referred to Falor as the fiancé of both sisters, with the recent filing stating that Falor was the father of Rebecca's unborn baby.) Kimberly is charged with evidence tampering, filing a false report and lying to a law enforcement officer. Meanwhile, the Bartholomews are charged with first-degree murder, felony murder, torture, conspiracy to commit torture, assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage/stillbirth, and conspiracy to commit assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage/stillbirth, unlawful imprisonment and removal of a dead body. The Bartholomews face life in prison if they are convicted. Kimberly was released on house arrest after her bail was reduced from $750,000 to $5,000. Rebecca Park. Wexford County Sheriff's Office Police allege it was Kimberly who first told detectives she had information about her mom Cortney and stepdad Bradly's alleged involvement in Rebecca's murder. Rebecca, she told police, according to People, died from a seizure after being struck on the head by Cortney and Bradly. After her November 25 arrest, Kimberly allegedly told detectives Falor said to her on November 4 that "he killed Rebecca Park and that he wanted to protect Kimberly by not sharing details with her." He also allegedly told her that "something went wrong while trying to cut the baby out of Rebecca," she told authorities. Every Revelation Scott Peterson's Ex Amber Frey Made in Laci Peterson Doc Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey described the murder as "evil personified" at a court hearing arguing against Cortney and Bradly being offered bail. "These two individuals created a plan, conducted research. Mr. Bartholomew brought Rebecca to their home, they forced her into another vehicle and took her into the woods where they stabbed her, forced her to lie on the ground while they cut her baby out, and ultimately caused her death and the death of the baby," Carey said in court. "They then left Rebecca in the woods." According to Falor's father, who spoke to MLive.com, Richard and Rebecca went to the hospital hours before Rebecca's disappearance as she thought she was going into labor, but was released because she "wasn't getting ready to have the baby yet." Rebecca then had dinner with her mother and was dropped off at Falor's dad's home by her mother and stepfather. "The night she went missing, she was here," Falor's father said. "She left during the night but (my son) stayed here for some reason and we just never heard from her again." Public defenders for all four defendants could not be reached for comment.
