[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] Chrishell Stause isn't backing down from her criticism of Gwen Stefani. The Selling Sunset star has taken a recent - and VERY firm - stance against the Hollaback Girl singer. In case you haven't been keeping up, the punk rock queen has turned a new and conservative leaf, recently partnering with Catholic app Hallow, which charges users $69.99/year to access its services. Pay to pray, y'all. What a concept... If you think we're playing some sort of sick joke about Gwen co-signing the app, we regret to inform you we're not. See for yourself: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Gwen Stefani (@gwenstefani) Following her ad, activist Matt Bernstein took to Instagram to break down the situation, and in the comments section is where Chrishell made her opinion known. Referencing Gwen's 1995 song Don't Speak with No Doubt, she wrote: "Gwen-DON'T SPEAK. Please take your own advice on this one" (c) Matt Bernstein/Instagram She gained support from an array of social media users, and now she's doubling down. On Tuesday, the 44-year-old took to her Instagram Story to share a headline about her comment, writing, "Context is important....." In the next slide, she shared Gwen's ad and wrote: "She is taking money to promote an app that encourages anti abortion even in cases of [rape] and incest. Please stop making young girls guilty to not have a choice. Don't speak is a play on words. She can say what she wants. And I can oppose it. If your child got pregnant by a pedophile, would you want Gewn Stephanie [sic] making her feel guilty to keep it? I wouldn't" In the next slide, she added a screenshot of a specific prayer from the Hallow app reading: "Jesus, we pray for every woman who is considering abortion, and in a special way for those who are pregnant from acts of rape or incest. May every woman know the goodness, gift, and beauty of her own life, and so be able to receive the gift of her child's life." No words... Chrishell wrote: "I will always be against stripping women's rights away. Even if it's dressed up as my once hero @gwenstefani as a church grifter. It's free to pray, and Jesus with a side of hidden agendas is not my idea of holiday cheer. I wish the people against abortion also cared about the children after they are born, like child victims of incest & [rape]" In a final slide, she left off: "Also the wildness of the comments tagging me in multiple posts about this today thinking they can humiliate me, make me feel bad or break me... Babes, I was on Netflix hardened by nine seasons of internet hate. I'm a different breed at this point. Say what you want. That's how I feel. Peace and love!"
