Marciano Brunette is opening up about why he took legal action against Demi Engemann. As we previously reported, the Vanderpump Villa star sued The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star for defamation last week. She accused him of sexual assault, but Marciano vehemently denied her allegation. He even insisted in the lawsuit that they shared a consensual kiss. It is a mess right now. However, the legal drama possibly could've been avoided if Demi had not crossed a major line with Marciano online. Back in November, the reality star commented on a promo post for his upcoming appearance on Heather McDonald's podcast... about his dead dad. Yikes. Marciano's father was professional boxer Johnny Montantes, who died after suffering a severe brain injury during a match in 1997, per the Las Vegas Sun. And Demi mentioned him when clapping back at Marciano for deleting her comments under Heather's post: "OOP. Looks like HE deleted it found his weak spot... looks like he's not so tough after all. Was your daddy this big of a too? I'm sure he's looking down so disappointed in what an embarrassment you've turned out ot be. There's still time to turn it around and tell the truth." Damn. The comment is now gone, but you can see it (below): (c) Marciano Brunette/Instagram That was the final straw for Marciano, apparently. He explained on the Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey podcast this week: "I can't say too much about the specifics, but like you just said, I'm not taking this lightly and once you cross that line with my father, nah. I'm done now. Now you pissed me off, because at first, I was kinda like, 'I don't know if I really want to.'" Marciano stressed once again that he can't say much, but he refused to let her "get away" with trash-talking his family: "You know, I can listen to the public and them saying I should and all these things, but I know once again, I can't get into specifics, but I know, oh yeah, I got this. I'm not even gonna let it, I can't let you get away with this s**t. You defamed me. I'm done with you. You said bad things about my family. All right, here we go." What makes the whole thing worse? Marciano said she knew how "traumatizing" his father's death was and never apologized: "Do you think it didn't hurt me? I got my brother crying to me, too, of how how upset he was. I got my parents finding out about it. They're crying. They're upset. They could not believe the insanity that this woman would say something and take it so low. And what makes it worse is that she knew everything. She knew how my dad died. She knew the details about it and how that affected me growing up as a kid. ... But she knew how traumatizing it was for me and my brother. And to use that? Dude, it f**king crushes me, and it makes me so mad that you didn't have the balls to just apologize and just say 'I'm sorry.' Just say, 'I'm sorry.'" It's no wonder Marciano is so adamant about getting even. Oof. Watch the podcast episode (below): Reactions?? Let us know!
