Alexandra moved into Thatched House Lodge in 1963, and she continues to reside on the property. _ According to Daily Express, Princess Alexandra has a two-part lease, with her initial agreement being signed in 1971 and another in 1995.

In 1971, Alexandra reportedly paid $4,002 for a 70-year lease, and then she paid $546.94 in annual rent for 35 years until 2006. For her second rental agreement, The Times reported that Alexandra paid $893,780 for her 150-year lease. _ Prince William and Kate Middleton also have a lease for their "forever home," which was recently revealed.
