Travis Kelce is really going through it after losing this weekend's game! If you didn't watch, the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Houston Texans, 20-10, at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. All while Taylor Swift was in the stands with her best friend, Selena Gomez, for the first time. Oof. With the Chiefs losing yet another game this season, their chances of making the playoffs are slim now. According to the NFL Next Gen Stats, they currently find themselves with only an 11 percent chance of heading to the next round. The team would have to win all four games and get an assist from the other teams if they hope to advance. Regardless, they are eliminated from the race to win the AFC West. Damn. What a brutal spot for the former champs, and Travis is now in his feels over it. Related: Will Taylor Swift Be Joining Kylie Kelce's Podcast?! Why Fans Think So! When the press entered the Chiefs' locker room after the game, the Kansas City Star's Sam McDowell reported on Monday that the space was already half empty. But who was still there? Travis. McDowell wrote he was standing in the center "picking at his fingernails," adding: "Travis Kelce stayed there for more than 15 minutes, his hands running over his hair, then plastered to his head, one on each side, as he stared down at the carpet." How sad... (c) NFL on CBS/TikTok, Kansas City Chiefs/YouTube The tight end declined multiple requests for an interview after the disappointing game. However, Travis opened up about the loss for the first time during an episode of the New Heights podcast on Wednesday - and he looks so upset! He told his brother Jason Kelce: "It's been a tough f**king go around for the past two days. I keep thinking if I show up to work and I put in the work and I fix the issues through my practice habits and through perfecting the game plan and my fundamentals and what I'm being taught and try to play my ass off for my guys next to me-it's all going to come together like it has in years past." However, it hasn't. And Travis knows his team is in a "tough" position now: "Obviously looking at the playoffs, this is a tough reality to be in. Especially for how we've always found a way in years past. So, it's a s****y f**king feeling." Aww! Taylor's fiancé is especially frustrated over his drop pass, which gave the Houston Texans their win: "Especially dropping the ball late in the game like that. When we were on our last f**king chance to make something shake. It's a s****y feeling." Jason defended Travis, though. He mentioned it would've been difficult to catch Patrick Mahomes' pass no matter what: "That was a tough one. You're running all the way over here and trying to reach back. I know you hold yourself to a high standard but that would've been a tough one." Hopefully, Travis can shake it off and get his head back in the game! It's not over yet! They still have four more games! Watch Travis talk about the rough game (below): Reactions, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments!
