Sylvester Stallone and wife Jennifer Flavin love calling Florida home. "I'm having the time of my life. I feel like it's been a rebirth for our family," Flavin, 57, said in a Monday, December 8, interview with Fox News while she and Stallone, 79, attended the 48th Kennedy Center Honors. "Since my entire family moved to the East Coast, we're having such a great time." Flavin added that she was grateful to make new connections in her new city. "It's new friends, new adventures, really great people. I've met some incredible friends that I never had in L.A.," she explained. "Sly and I are so enjoying our time there." Why Sylvester Stallone Is Glad He Moved From Hollywood to Florida When asked by the outlet what Stallone thought about his new life in the Sunshine State, the Rocky actor joked there was "a lot more perspiration." Stallone and Flavin moved from Los Angeles to Palm Beach nearly two years ago. The couple shared the news with their family during a season 2 episode of their reality series The Family Stallone. (Stallone and Flavin share daughters Sophia, 29, Sistine, 27, and Scarlet, 23 while the Oscar nominee is also father son Seargeoh, 46, with ex-wife Sasha Czack. The exes' eldest son, Sage, died in 2012 at age 36.) "After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, [it's] time to move on and leave the state of California permanently," Stallone told his daughters, who all previously left their family home on the West Coast, during a family dinner. "And, we're going to Florida." Later that year, Flavin and Stallone exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about why the move was "100 percent" the right choice for their family. "I think it was the best decision for Sly and I because all the girls now live on the East Coast, and we want to be close to them, but they don't want to be too close to us all the time," Flavin told Us in February 2024. "And it's nice because we sold the house that they grew up in, and that was a big change. But I like this new adventure. I love change." Stallone, for his part, echoed similar sentiments. "And you go, 'Wow, why don't we do something for us? Why don't we do something that we may find adventurous and kind of spark us to new adventures and push the envelope?' Because after a while, you have the same thing. Go to the same restaurant, same friends, and I go, 'I'd like to feel [excited] going there.' That's exactly what happened." Earlier this year, Stallone gave an update and how he and Flavin were adjusting to their new life. "First of all, the air seems to always be clean. We're very, very near the water and that makes my wife incredibly happy. It makes me happy, and it's just something about it. It's just so lush," he told Fox News in September. "I went to college there for a couple of years. So, I'm not a stranger to the environment, but it fits my personality much better."
