"This is like a dream," she shared as she opened up the final products for the first time before giving a squeal. "Oh my gosh. It's perfect." But the social media personality isn't the only one to face criticism over a skincare line for children, as actress Shay Mitchell recently defended her new brand rini, which offers skincare masks for kids aged 3 and up. Everleigh LaBrant/Instagram"Anything that involves kids, there should be a conversation around it," she said during Today's Jenna & Friends in November. "I have a lot of questions, as I'm sure you both do, when anything that involves our kids, with what they eat, with what they put on their skin. I didn't think this would be any different." According to the Pretty Little Liars alum, the masks feature the same moisturizers that parents often put on their children's skin, "just in a different format that's more fun and I feel very age-appropriate." "This came from my experience of being a mom, having two girls and myself," she continued, "and seeing that there wasn't anything out there I felt safe enough putting on their skin when they wanted to share in on this moment that I do." And for her daughters Atlas, 6, and Rome, 3-who she shares with partner Matte Babel-it's less about "a beauty thing," and instead, "a cooling sensation and a shared moment."
