The animal reportedly got out of line and jumped before continuing with its route. King Charles III's Royal Horse Artillery managed to march past His Majesty and Frank-Walter Steinmeier despite the animal's behavior. _ Fortunately, the rest of the visit went smoothly, as King Charles III celebrated Germany's relationship with the U.K. during a state banquet dinner. "The United Kingdom and Germany together stand with Ukraine and bolster Europe against the threat of further Russian aggression," His Majesty said. _ Not only did King Charles III applaud Germany and the U.K.'s diplomatic ties, but he highlighted the "most terrible consequences of conflict" following World War II. _ At another point in King Charles III's speech, he highlighted the cultural changes in Germany that occurred after the Berlin Wall was knocked down. His Majesty noted that the transition out of communism was seen as "unsettling and even frightening" to some. "Fear can lead to anger and resentment," Charles noted, before adding he values "democracy, freedom and the rule of law."
