Tara Reid is opening up about the ridicule she's been on the receiving end of after her alleged drugging. The American Pie actress has had quite a whirlwind few weeks... and she's getting tired of being "bullied." In case you haven't been keeping up, Tara was at Chicago-area hotel Doubletree last month when a chill night at the bar descended into chaos and resulted in a hospital visit. In early photos and videos obtained by TMZ, she was seen slouching in a wheelchair and being carted out of the hotel on a stretcher. Later, the 911 call was released where she can be heard groaning and slurring her words in the background. The 50-year-old went on to tell TMZ she believed she was drugged, and pointed fingers at a YouTube content creator named Sean P, whom she spent time with that night... However, the Rosemont Police Department combed through security footage and found no evidence her drink was ever tampered with. So it's pretty much been a waiting game to see what was in her system the night she was admitted into the hospital. And she's not happy with the narrative forming across social media! All I said was that I felt something was wrong and that I felt I may have been drugged, because I have no other explanation for why I woke up in a hospital gown with no memory of how I got there." What a completely awful feeling! The American Reunion actress noted it "has been incredibly painful" seeing the media "twist [her] words and attack [her]" for not being able to recall everything that went down that night: "I feel bullied and judged for something I cannot recall. I'm trying to heal, but the public scrutiny is making that very difficult, and I've been afraid to even leave my house." Standing her ground, the My Boss's Daughter star continued: "No one ends up in the hospital for around eleven hours from drinking wine alone. I hadn't taken any medication that day, and I know something wasn't right. Whether I had additional drinks after that doesn't matter, the fact is I don't remember anything." She concluded by asking for "privacy, compassion and space to heal." "I've shared the only truth I have: what I remember, and what I felt." This all comes after the Rosemont Police Department released footage of Tara from the night of her alleged drugging. In said footage, Tara is seen consuming multiple glasses of wine, despite initially claiming she only had one. Whatever happened that night, we hope answers emerge soon so Tara can put this whole situation behind her! Reactions?
