Chrishell Stause is coming for Gwen Stefani. The Selling Sunset star is NOT happy about Gwen's latest paid partnering! In case you haven't heard, everyone's (former?) favorite punk rock princess' reputation has taken a massive swing in a conservative direction as of late. Sure, she's always been known to have Catholic beliefs, but for a lot of fans, this isn't about having religious beliefs. It's about partnering with people who want to impose those beliefs on everyone else! See, she recently partnered with Hallow, a pay-to-pray app that charges users $69.99 a year to access its services. She said in a recent Instagram video: "It is important this holiday season to spend time in prayer. That is what Christmas is all about: letting God into our hearts and letting Jesus bring us his peace. Download Hallow and join me and millions of others in praying every day this advent and Christmas season on Hallow." Related: Erika Kirk Says She Prayed She Was Pregnant After Charlie's Death She added in her caption: "The season of Advent has always been a reminder to slow down, even when everything around us is moving so fast. It's such a special time to reflect, pray, and make room in your heart for Jesus. The @hallowapp Advent challenge is called Be Still, and together we'll learn how to find stillness amidst the chaos and embrace peace even when our lives are so busy. Join me for Pray25: Be Still on Hallow." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Gwen Stefani (@gwenstefani) The Catholic app boasts blatantly anti-abortion views and is backed by JD Vance, who poured MILLIONS of dollars into funding it! It also has support from Peter Thiel, a massive supporter of the Trump administration, who believes the United States' decline happened when women gained the right to vote. He claimed all the way back in 2009: "The 1920s were the last decade in American history during which one could be genuinely optimistic about politics. Since 1920, the vast increase in welfare beneficiaries and the extension of the franchise to women - two constituencies that are notoriously tough for libertarians - have rendered the notion of 'capitalist democracy' into an oxymoron." And Gwen backs THIS?! Are we living in some sort of alternate timeline?! Again, this is NOT an attack on Catholicism itself or being Catholic. Activist Matt Bernstein broke down more about the app and Gwen's paid partnership in an Instagram video over the weekend. In the comments section, the 44-year-old referenced No Doubt's 1995 hit Don't Speak while SLAMMING Gwen: "Gwen-DON'T SPEAK. Please take your own advice on this one" (c) Matt Bernstein/Instagram TONS of other users joined Chrishell and Matt in disapproval, taking to Gwen's comments section to sound off: "Gwen please snap out of it! We need the OG Gwen!" "I love you, Gwen but unfortunately I ain't no Hallow app girl." "wtf happened to you" "Find your God for only USD 70 per year. Before tax. Funded by yours truly: J.D. Vance! Merry Christmas!" "Pay for pray is CRAZY WORK." "Well this is a huge disappointment" "Promoting a pro-life homophobic conservative funded app is gross." "God is free, Gwen. Touch some grass."
