She continued, "At the end of January, our family will be moving back to Australia. 3 out of 5 of us do not want to leave Bali. This place has been everything I have needed. But for our two older girls, although they have loved it here and have grown so much, a piece of them is struggling. And from the start, we promised this move had to work for every single one of us." Williams, who has more than 27,000 Instagram followers, explained that her children's homeschooling has been "incredible," gushing that "their grades have thrived." Celebrity Parenting Tips of 2024, From Angelina Jolie to Ryan Reynolds "And this year together has been the biggest gift. I am forever grateful," she said. "As a parent, this has been the dream. More time. More presence. More connection. Less rushing. Less stress. Less mental load. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, groceries, all taken care of so you can simply enjoy your children without being pulled in a thousand directions. It has been magic." Williams gushed that the family of five has "spent every night playing cards" and "every weekend exploring." "I have had quality time with teenagers that most parents never get. I will hold that tight forever. But the reality is, they need friends," she said. "They need community. Some days they have no reason to leave their rooms." She continued, "To the parents who have ever made a decision with your kids front of mind, even when it breaks your own heart ... I see you. I get it. This is one of those decisions. And here is the part that hurts the most." Jessica Alba's 3 Kids Think Lizzy Mathis Is 'Cooler' Than Her Williams explained that she spent three years "building a custom home" yet it "never felt like home" - and "for the first time in [her] entire life," she "finally felt home." "And now we have to leave it," she explained. "Yes, this was supposed to be permanent. Yes, we sold everything except our house. Yes, it has cost us a fortune. It takes f***ing guts to move your entire family to another country alone. We did something most people only ever talk about. We are leaving the door wide open. Jed and I plan to live here again once the girls finish high school. I know we will be back." She continued, "This has been the best year of our lives. A year we will never regret. And maybe one day the girls will look back and realize just how special this place is. Maybe they will choose Bali again too." Williams concluded with a message to her followers, noting that we all have "one life" and "one chance to make memories worth holding onto." "Life is for adventures," she wrote. "And this has been the greatest one yet." She captioned the post, "Yes I'm crying posting this 😭. But ripping the bandaid off. 💔. Looking forward to showers with my mouth open, brushing my teeth in tap water, eating and not worrying and of course seeing my 🐶. beautiful friends and family."
