What on earth is Bryan Kohberger trying to accomplish with this? According to what retired detective Chris McDonough recently told Fox News Digital, the convicted murderer isn't having a good time in prison - and he's trying to make friends with other killers. The detective explained that an insider told him Bryan "sees himself above everyone around him" at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution, so he's reaching out to other high-profile criminals "both inside and outside" of where he's staying in the J Block: "He's tried reaching out to other serial killers, but I don't know whether any relationships have formed. Both inside and outside - he's trying to communicate with people outside the walls." Related: Bryan's Defense Was Going To Force Surviving Roommates To Testify FOR HIM! But what could this mean? Well, it's possible he's trying to get other connections because he wants out of the unit where he's currently being held: "He's desperately trying to get transferred out of J-Block because of relentless taunting from other inmates. Recently, his big complaint has been food, especially the bananas, because he's a vegan. He didn't like the type or quality of the food being prepared. It wouldn't be surprising if the inmates intentionally give him the worst bananas - 'Give this one to Kohberger'." And while J-Block keeps him isolated 23 hours per day (which reduces the risk of other inmates attacking him) - he's ready to go somewhere else and put his safety at risk. In fact, he's reportedly making some harsh threats to try and get his way: "His latest issue is that he's implied that if they don't move him out of J-Block - complaining his cell is too small and so on - he'll harm himself. No one knows what that means. It could be a manipulation tactic, almost like a toddler having a tantrum, to get himself into a better unit."
