Cameron Boyce's grandmother and activist Jo Ann Allen Boyce has died at age 84 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Jo Ann was surrounded by her family at her home in California when she died on December 3, the Los Angeles Times reported on Saturday, December 6. The activist attended the first integrated public high school in the South after the U.S. Supreme Court's 1954 ruling in Brown v. The Board of Education. Sculptures of Jo Ann and 11 of her fellow students are erected in the Green McAdoo Cultural Center in Clinton, Tennessee.
