Sharna Burgess is sounding off on all the rumored toxicity behind the scenes on Dancing with the Stars. Season 34 of the dance competition has been one for the books. From beginning to end, it seemed like it was riddled with unending drama... much of which has centered around Corey Feldman and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. As we know, Corey got a late star on rehearsals with dance partner Jenna Johnson, and paired with his mind being flooded with Charlie Sheen drama, his journey on the show ended up being short-lived. He and Jenna were voted out during week two, alongside Baron Davis and his pro partner Britt Stewart. Shortly after, Makim pointed fingers at Corey while defending his in-law Jenna: "Obviously, Jenna has a bit of an uphill climb with Corey, which is easy for everybody to say from [outside], but I know that she's having a much more difficult time with this entire thing and to the point that it is really difficult for her ..." Actually there, everything was great. But the behind-the-scenes drama and BS that people throw around that show, I've never seen anything like it. It's the worst, like, most toxic." He had nothing but positive things to say about Jenna, but was clearly very bothered with the narrative that he wasn't "working hard enough" and "destroyed the show" - narratives he says originated from Maksim, who apparently "just wants attention." So is the BTS culture really that "toxic"? Well, Sharna says no. During a Q&A held on her Instagram Stories this week, one fan asked the pro dancer what her interpretation of "DWTS toxic" is... and she had the following to say: "I've never heard this but l'm gonna have to assume The fandom (some not all obvi)." She went on: "It's certainly not the show itself or the people on it. Gosh I hate even seeing those two words together it's so sad but yeah the online hate is just another level these days. On the flip side so is the online love and adoration. It's the ying and yang.. the balance I guess. Where there are more people that love something there will also be more people that don't." The 40-year-old, who shares a child with Brian Austin Green, left off: "And with how popular it is again with this second coming every man and his dog wants to go viral with their "hot takes" while most of them would cry for a photo with any of the people they speak so portly of if given the change."
