Quentin Tarantino didn't hold back while talking about some of his apparent least-favorites in Hollywood. The Kill Bill director recently appeared on the Bret Easton Ellis Podcast, where he absolutely dragged both Paul Dano and Matthew Lillard! While talking about Paul Thomas Anderson's 2007's film There Will Be Blood, Quentin ranked the Western as one of the best films of the 21st century - but in his opinion, it would be better if not for "a big giant flaw in it." The flaw in question? Paul. OUCH. The director said: "[The film] would stand a better chance to be in number one or number two if it didn't have a big giant flaw in it. And the flaw is Paul Dano. Obviously, it's supposed to be a two-hander, and it's also so drastically obvious that it's not a two-hander ... He is weak sauce, man. He's a weak sister." The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood director went on: "[Paul] is such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy. The weakest f**king actor in [the Screen Actors Guild]." Whoa!! WTF?! What did Paul ever do to Quentin? This seems SO harsh! In the film, Paul stars alongside heavy hitter Daniel Day-Lewis, who won Best Actor at the 2008 Academy Awards for his role. The film was also nominated for Best Picture and several other awards, and Paul received a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Elsewhere in the podcast, Quentin disparaged Matthew AND Owen Wilson: "I'm not saying [Dano is] giving a non-entity performance. I don't care for him. I don't care for Owen Wilson. I don't care for Matthew Lillard." You can listen to more HERE. Dude is out for blood! The Hateful Eight director's hateful comments have since proven exactly how words can affect people... This week, Matthew appeared at fan event GalaxyCon in Columbus, Ohio, where he reacted to Quentin's diss with the most heartbreaking sentiment. In fan footage uploaded to TikTok, the Scooby-Doo star said: "Quentin Tarantino this week said he didn't like me as an actor. Whatever, who gives a s**t. It hurts your feelings, it f**king sucks and he wouldn't say that to Tom Cruise. He wouldn't say that to somebody who's a top-line actor in Hollywood." The Scream actor went on: "I'm very popular in this room. I'm not very popular in Hollywood. Two totally different microcosms. So it's humbling, and it hurts." That's so sad to hear him say! Luckily, a fan shouted out, "I love you!" and it cheered the Good Girls actor up.
