Hilaria and Alec Baldwin stepped out for a rare date night at the 2025 American Museum of Natural History Gala. Hilaria, 41, matched the carpet at the New York City event on Thursday, December 4, in a bright red strapless mermaid-cut gown with a sweetheart neckline. She kept the rest of her look simple, wearing a dainty silver necklace and matching earrings, as well as red lipstick. Alec, 67, sported a classic black suit. The outing came days after the couple attended the 2025 Gotham Awards in NYC on Monday, December 1. Hilaria and Alec made headlines back in November when the yoga instructor admitted that she and her husband sometimes attend therapy to work out issues brought on by their 26-year age gap. Hilaria Baldwin Felt Like 'Kid in an Adult's Home' When Moving In With Alec "I don't believe that age is just a number, at least in our situation," she said during the November 12 episode of Caroline Stanbury's "Uncut and Uncensored" podcast. "There are certain things where I have to look at him and say, 'He has 26 more years of experience.' And sometimes that's a flex, and sometimes that means that we need to do a little therapy." Alec and Hilaria began dating in 2011 and tied the knot the following year. They went on to welcome seven kids - Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 5, Maria, 4 and Ilaria, 3. Additionally, Hilaria became a stepmother to Alec's daughter Ireland, 30, from his marriage to Kim Basinger, which lasted from 1993 to 2002. "I think he wanted a chance to do it in a different way and make different choices." Hilaria said she and Alec have "hard moments" in their relationship sometimes, but they do their best to work through them. "Do we have our normal, marital arguments? 100 percent," she explained. "But it's the desire to both want to be there and to both want to make it work. When you have that, I think you can go through anything together." Hilaria said that a piece of advice she received from a follower was particularly helpful. "I posted this on my [Instagram] Stories, this woman said, 'You need to be able to really articulate and know what your identity is, because otherwise you're going to just get it from other people because everybody's going to have an opinion,'" she explained. "And this is not a famous person who's saying this. We're all the same, regardless if we're famous, not famous, whatever. We're all flesh and blood." Inside Hilaria Baldwin's Relationship With Stepdaughter Ireland Baldwin Since then, the Dancing With the Stars season 34 alum has come to terms with the spotlight. "I haven't been as clear as I should have been with myself about my identity," she concluded. "People can say this or that. I cannot stop them. But I can know myself in a way that hopefully it won't give me that nauseous pit in my stomach that I've experienced so many times."
