Production assistants on The CW show All American and the CBS sitcom Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage voted in separate National Labor Relations Board elections on Thursday to unionize, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Of the 15 PAs and three assistants eligible to participate in the election at All American, 10 took part and voted unanimously in favor of the union. Of the five eligible PAs on Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, three voted unanimously to join the union. "Securing two more unanimous PA election wins is an incredible boost for our campaign and for the production assistants across the industry," said LiUNA Local 724 business manager Alex Aguilar in a statement. "The energy on the ground is real - people want change, they want respect and they want a voice. These victories prove that momentum is on our side, and we're just getting started." The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Warner Bros. Television, which produces both shows, for comment. The development comes on the heels of another production assistants union, at HBO Max's The Pitt, ratifying its first labor contract. That deal gave the workers access to union health and pension benefits as well as professional development resources. All American and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage were organized much in the same way as The Pitt was, and at the same time. Organizers pitched a tent outside a Warner Bros. parking lot and began talking to crew members flowing in and out. One organizer, Clio Byrne-Gudding, previously told THR, "That's how we started seeding the organizing drive from here when we couldn't actually be close to the set."
