"When I think about what I just went through," she told the Australian Sunday Telegraph's Stellar magazine in Oct. 2024, "I would have told my 22-year-old self to run in the opposite direction and never look back."Firerose also alleged at the time that she became increasingly isolated from her loved ones after she started dating Billy Ray. "My family and friends all had the same experience: me withdrawing and pushing them away," she explained. "The way I experienced it was: 'Oh, he's just really protective.'" (While he didn't respond to her allegations at the time, he had previously accused her in July 2024 of "conducting a campaign to isolate" him from his own family.) She also said the "Old Town Road" singer-who is now dating Elizabeth Hurley-told her, "You're a Cyrus now. You can't be going to church.
