Conner Leavitt, AKA the most supportive husband in all of MomTok, will not stand for Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, mom-shaming Whitney! During an episode of The Viall Files podcast on Wednesday, the couple sat down to discuss The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star's next career move - Broadway. Following her premature elimination from Dancing With The Stars, Whitney scored a role as Roxie Hart on Chicago from February to March. Many are so stoked about this new opportunity for Whitney, except for Nick and Natalie. At least that is how it came across on their podcast, as they unfairly questioned her career choices! Natalie said: "I am curious because, obviously, we had Taylor Frankie Paul being The Bachelorette, and she received a lot of criticism for leaving her children and prioritizing her and her career and finding love. I am curious how Whitney is managing both." Related: Dakota Mortensen Shades Ex Taylor Frankie Paul Over Her Bachelorette Gig! The 26-year-old then wondered how Whitney would handle being a mom and working on Broadway, especially after DWTS took over her life for several months: "She just did Dancing With the Stars for three or four months. She has kids on a school level - maybe they are homeschooled. I don't know. But to be in L.A. for four months doing Dancing With The Stars, and then to shift to Chicago in New York, that takes so much of her time. How is she managing, like prioritizing being a mom and her kids, who I imagine have some sort of schedule and routine? And I know their home base was Utah. I'm just so curious." Nick pointed out that Conner is "very hands-on" with their three children: 6-year-old daughter Sedona, 4-year-old son Liam, and 13-month-old son Billy, but he is also "curious" about how the pair are "making it all work" after they "uprooted" their kids' lives twice now. Natalie added: "Obviously, we are very busy and are constantly on the go. But we realize that once she is in school, our life has to drastically slow down." Wait, so their standards don't apply to the early years? Only school years? Sounds convenient! Also, if this were a dad taking the same opportunities, would anyone be questioning the father? What the f**k is with the judgment toward Whitney? It sounds less "curious" and more judgy wudgy was a bear! Sooo many moms have careers and lives in addition to #momlife and their families still thrive. Also, ultimately, it's really none of Nick's or Natalie's business what goes on with Whitney and her kids. And we have to say, we didn't see this same energy from them when Taylor Frankie Paul was announced as The Bachelorette. Just saying! Watch Natalie and Nick's discussion (below): Nick and Natalie's comments quickly sparked backlash online. They have not addressed it yet, but Conner did. He clapped back in a video on TikTok of him and his two eldest kids dancing to We Both Reached for the Gun from Chicago, writing in the caption: "Teamwork looks different for everyone. This is how we do ours couldn't be more proud of @Whitney Leavitt." Watch it (below): @conner.leavitt Teamwork looks different for everyone. See (below): "nick viall podcast was SO weird. whitney isn't the first or last mother to pursue a creative project like broadway. so happy for her and this tik tok was the perfect response!" "Great answer to the weird podcast from Nick Viall" "Judging a woman for going after her dreams and having a supportive dad/husband to support her while she does this in 2025 is crazyyyy ! We love a power couple" "What's crazy is they condemned Whitney for performing on Broadway but they hyped up Taylor for being on the bachelorette..." "I'm a little bit concerned about who's watching Nick and Natalie's baby while they're making their podcast together??" "Conner with the classiest warranted diss. We love a supportive husband who admires his ambitious wife both of you are super parents" "My husband primarily stays home and I work! Never let anyone shame you or her. We are cheering so hard for you guys in our house!" "'What will her kids do while she's on Broadway?' Learn the dance moves with their dad obviously." "Mind blown with the Nick vile podcast..obviously your children are loved and being raised by their parents I work 10 hrs a day out of the home and sometimes out of town and let me tell you my children are fine" "Is this a clapback at Nick and Natalie? I hope so." "Do they rly think not a single person who's ever worked on Broadway had kids?" Exactly!! What are your reactions, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments!
