On Thursday, the outlet revealed new details about the co-stars' meeting that took place in Blake's NYC house in December 2022, while she was pregnant with her now-2-year-old son Olin. Per Justin's deposition, their conversation started professionally as he was trying to convince the Gossip Girl alum to play the main role in Colleen Hoover's movie adaptation. But it quickly crossed a boundary. The 41-year-old recalled how their chatting veered into whether or not Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds were going to have their son circumcised once he was born. Blake's attorney, Michael J. Gottlieb, asked the Jane the Virgin alum: "Among other things, you discussed whether Ms. Lively's baby would be circumcised, right?" He replied, "Yes." The lawyer then wondered: "Did you at any point share with Ms. Lively whether you were circumcised?" He confirmed, "Yes." But when the attorney asked why Justin chose to share this personal information, Justin was apparently flaky and dodged a straightforward answer. He did, however, admit Blake had not "directly" asked him whether he'd got the procedure. So why'd he start talking about his genitalia?! In his lackluster defense, the Five Feet Apart filmmaker pointed out the actors weren't alone: "There were people going all around. Mr. [Ryan] Reynolds was in and out of the conversation. She had, I think, two nannies. I felt like there was a housekeeper there. Her assistant was walking around. I think she had two assistants there. Her and I were sitting on the couch, but there were people all around." Still, how was this an appropriate conversation for work colleagues - especially if Blake hadn't asked him directly?? When asked if he ever shared details of his circumcision with other co-workers, Justin argued: "I don't talk about my genitalia, so no." And yet he had here... Huh.
