Sinners leads the film nominees with 17 nods, followed by One Battle After Another with 14 and Hamnet and Frankenstein with 11 nods apiece. The Critics Choice Association revealed the nominees on E! and USA Network's linear channels and a streaming presentation on CriticsChoice.com, E! Online and E! and USA's YouTube channels in addition to via the CCA's social media networks. Other films with more than two nominations include Marty Supreme (8); seven-time nominees F1, Sentimental Value and Wicked: For Good; Train Dreams (5); Jay Kelly and Weapons (4 each) and Bugonia (3). This year, the Critics Choice Association has added four new categories: best variety series, stunt design, casting/ensemble and sound. "Our voters are the critics and entertainment reporters who help audiences find the best of the best every day, all year long. The 2026 Critics Choice Awards, hosted by returning emcee Chelsea Handler, are set to air live on Sunday, Jan. 4 from Santa Monica's Barker Hangar on E! and USA from 7-10 p.m. ET and PT.
