New details are coming out about Justin Baldoni's deposition! And it turns out that he feels Blake Lively took a page out of her (now-former) best friend Taylor Swift's book on how to play the victim! According to court documents obtained by Page Six on Thursday, when the It Ends With Us director/actor sat down for his deposition earlier this year, he was asked about the infamous January 3 meeting with his co-star. In Blake's sexual harassment lawsuit, she claimed that she gave a list of demands to Justin and producer Jamey Heath before they resumed production on the film after the Hollywood strikes ended. Those rules included "no more improvising of kissing," "no more showing nude videos or images of women," and more. She had already spoken to HR about feeling uncomfortable around the two men following their alleged behavior. Related: How Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Are Coping With Justin Baldoni Lawsuit! After the "traumatizing" meeting, per court documents, Justin texted a friend group, which included actor Rainn Wilson and singer Andy Grammer, that "[Lively] had the nuclear bomb." And she knew how to play the game the Taylor way, the Jane the Virgin alum claimed. He added in the message: "If she doesn't promote the movie, she can leak that I'm a bad person or that she felt unsafe with me and all the stuff she has on me. Then she's the victim. It's the Taylor Swift playbook. So she can ask for whatever she wants because she knows I know." It sounds like Justin believes the longtime narrative that the pop star always plays the victim in her public feuds... Justin also pointed out that because Blake, Taylor, and Ryan Reynolds are such big names in Hollywood, they really controlled the movie's success. With that, he likely felt his back was against the wall, and he couldn't do anything to defend himself back then. But if he had done nothing wrong, why was he so concerned in the text? Justin explained to Blake's attorney, Michael Gottlieb, during the deposition: "I think when you are somebody small in the industry like myself, and you're dealing with a titan like Ms. Lively and some of the most powerful people in the world, which are her best friends, and you're in the situation that I was in, I think it's very reasonable, especially at this point, to be concerned about what's possible and what's not. I - I was spinning at this point." Hmm... What are your thoughts, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments!
