Olympic golden boy turned tabloid magnet Ryan Lochte just cannot catch a break, and now things have gone from messy to downright difficult. While the ink on his still-not-finalized divorce from estranged wife Kayla Lochte is not even close to being dry, the pair are now being dragged into a full-on foreclosure battle in Florida. Yes, foreclosure. Back on November 20, according to Us Weekly on Thursday, the Fletcher Park Owner's Association officially hit the embattled exes with a lawsuit. The suit claims they stopped paying required fees tied to their Gainesville home. That would be the four-bedroom, three-bath, nearly 2,840-square-foot home they scooped up in 2021 for a cool $547,700 - and which is now estimated at around $660k. It reads: "Owner failed to pay the assessments of all types, interest, late fees, administrative fees, attorney's fees, and costs of collections due to [the owner's associate]." Ouch. Back in July, the association slapped a lien on the property demanding $3,686 in unpaid fees. And now, since nothing was resolved, they moved to court. But that's not the only financial storm cloud hovering over this house. According to docs obtained by Us, the home is already carrying an IRS lien accusing Ryan and Kayla of owing nearly $100k in unpaid taxes from 2021 and 2022. Seriously! As if their divorce drama needed more fuel. FYI, Ryan moved out after the split, but the house - and all the baggage tied to it - is still very much both of theirs to deal with. And speaking of baggage, the foreclosure fight is just the latest twist in this divorce saga. Kayla filed for divorce months ago, calling the marriage "irretrievably broken" and asking for primary custody of their three young children. By fall, the tension skyrocketed when she accused Ryan of using drugs inside the home, claiming she found empty baggies and even allegedly witnessed him inhaling nitrous oxide in the garage. Ryan later admitted he had used substances while struggling emotionally after a 2023 car accident, but insisted he never did so around the kids. Ryan and his girlfriend Molly tried to shut that down, saying Molly has known the kids for years and that the claims distort reality and paint a misleading picture of their family dynamic.
