Josh Shapiro is completely airing out Kamala Harris for allegedly lying in her new book! In case you didn't hear, Kamala released a new memoir called 107 Days which follows the story of her 2024 presidential election campaign. As you know, Tim Walz ended up becoming her running mate after Joe Biden dropped out of the race. But at one point, Josh was in talks to potentially be her running mate. Related: Trump Defends Directing R-Word At Walz - Whose Son Has A Disability Tim Alberta, who did a piece for Atlantic, got a copy of 107 Days and was able to read all the juicy tidbits - particularly how Kamala had "taken some shots at" Josh. Well, Alberta then even told Josh this stuff to his face during an interview. According to the journalist, Kamala said in her book that Josh allegedly had "to be in the room for every decision." She even reportedly said he hijacked their conversation when she was interviewing him to be a running mate. Not only that, her book also reportedly recounts how Josh was totally obsessed with where he'd be living if he became VP, including supposedly asking for the number of bedrooms and measuring the drapes. Well, the journo said all this caused Josh to lose "some respect for the former vice president during the 2024 campaign," explaining: "He moved between outrage and exasperation as I relayed the excerpts." Another claim Kamala reportedly made in her book was that Josh was already asking about how to get Smithsonian artwork lended out for his VP housing. When Alberta told him this, the governor said: "That's complete and utter bull s**t. I can tell you that her accounts are just blatant lies." Damn! But it doesn't stop there. Alberta said in his report that he talked to people from Kamala's inner circle and they alleged Josh showed up to his interview with the former VP "in an edgy mood" and "proceeded to interview [her] rather than the other way around." Well, THAT is a claim about which Josh defended himself! He replied: "I did ask a bunch of questions. Wouldn't you ask questions if someone was talking to you about forming a partnership and working together?" When the journalist asked him if he felt betrayed by her writing about him, he said: "I mean, she's trying to sell books and cover her ass. I shouldn't say 'cover her ass.' I think that's not appropriate. She's trying to sell books. Period." Jeez! Harsh words for a friendship of over two decades! But Josh has been super hurt. He said in the interview that him not getting selected as her running mate affected him a lot: "This was not getting cut from the basketball team." In fact, Tim A. said in his report that people close to Josh claim he "very much wanted to become Kamala Harris's running mate." Well then... What do U think about all this, Perezcious readers?
