Jack Nicholson's daughter Lorraine shared a rare look at quality time with her dad. "A November to remember ❤️," Lorraine, 35, captioned a Thursday, December 4, Instagram slideshow of memorable moments from the previous month. Lorraine included several photos with her loved ones including her father, boyfriend Jason Reitman and two of her siblings: Ray and Jennifer. (In addition to Lorraine, Ray and Jennifer, Nicholson is father to son Caleb Goddard, and daughters Honey Hollman and Tessa Gourin.) In one snap, Lorraine posed with Nicholson and her brother while at a family gathering. Lorraine stood in the middle as she wrapped her arms around Nicholson and Ray, 33. Both men leaned in as they smiled for the photo. The actor's last film role was in the 2010 rom-com How Do You Know. Since then, he's kept it low-key. Nicholson has briefly stepped out for a rare public outing with his kids, including basketball games and other special events. In a 2010 interview with AARP, Nicholson opened up about his close bond with Lorraine and Ray. "We've always gotten along," he told the outlet. "I want to be inspirational, or some kind of good influence on them without overburdening them. It's their time of life to find out who they are." Lorraine echoed similar sentiments as she gushed about how her dad was an inspiration to her in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. "He's my mentor," she exclusively told Us in 2011. "I'm going into the family business because we're so close and he's such an inspiration. I admire him so much." Lorraine also shared the wisdom she received from her dad which has been passed down in their family. "My grandma always told my father, 'Don't toot your own horn,' which in Nicholson speak means, 'Be modest and let your work speak for yourself,'" Lorraine said. "That's sort of what I applied to not only my acting work, but my everyday work." Earlier this year, Lorraine gave a rare glimpse at how she and her family spent the 2024 holiday season. "The giving season 🎁" she wrote via Instagram in January alongside a slideshow from the family's get-together. Lorraine's post included a sweet snap of her and Nicholson sharing a sweet embrace. The following month, Lorraine and Nicholson attended the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special. Nicholson introduced his friend, Adam Sandler, before he took the stage. "Ladies and gentleman, Adam Sandler," Nicholson said to the cameras while seated in the crowd alongside Lorraine, who rubbed his shoulder in encouragement. "I just saw Jack a couple weeks ago - it was his birthday a month ago, and he's great," DeVito, 80, told People at the time.
