The California Highway Patrol (CHP) was called after three suspects fled following a misdemeanor hit-and-run on April 8, 2025. According to an LAPD statement, the CHP requested backup outside Lauren's home. Upon their arrival, the officers found Lauren armed with a handgun in a neighboring yard. She was allegedly ordered to drop her weapon but reportedly refused.
