A Bengaluru-based lawyer has lodged a complaint at the High Grounds Police Station against Ranveer Singh. He has claiming that his imitation of the Daiva sequence from Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 has offended religious sentiments. Prashanth Metal, the advocate, has lodged the complaint for recreating Rishab Shetty's Ullalthi Daiva performance. This happened while he addressed his fans at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa on November 28, 2025.
