The family members of rapper POORSTACY don't believe the story coming out about how he died... As we previously reported, the Boca Raton Police Department told TMZ the 26-year-old musician, born Carlito Milfort, passed away in Boca Raton, Florida, on Saturday. The official cause of death is unknown at this time, but fans speculated he died by suicide. And according to sources for TMZ, that's what police think, too. It's reported he survived at first before being transported to a local hospital, where he died on Monday after being taken off life support. Although police have not released the cause of death, one source connected to the family claimed they don't believe he died by suicide and suspect foul play instead. The insider didn't explain why his loved ones feel this way. However, they noted POORSTACY was staying at the hotel for 10 days after checking in with a woman and a toddler. The insider shared that the Choose Life artist is the father of the child, and the woman is the mother. It's unknown if they were in the room when he allegedly died. Soo.. is the family suspicious of the woman? Is that why they suspect something sinister occurred? Hmm. If you hoped the 911 call would provide more answers, think again. It only raised more questions about what happened to POORSTACY. On Wednesday, TMZ obtained the audio clip of the call from the Boca Raton Police Department, which noted the "redacted file" had "all investigative information removed." So, not much to go on! We at least know that an employee from the hotel placed the call following the incident. And before the audio cuts out, another person hopped on to answer more questions. We don't know their identity at this time. Listen (below): The audio doesn't clear up anything about the situation, so will the family demand a further investigation now? We'll wait and see. But for now, regardless of what they think, the police seem to feel it was a suicide. TMZ reported they even released the room back to the hotel on Saturday to be thoroughly cleaned.
