He continues to be repped by manager Kathleen Remington and attorney Eric Suddleson of Felker Toczek. As a screenwriter, director and producer, Dauberman has had his name on the blood-soaked marquee alongside James Wan, Andy Muschietti, David F. Sandberg and Stephen King, among others. He penned Warner Bros. 2017 film adaptation of King's beloved novel It, directed by Muschietti. The New Line film broke box office records including biggest horror opening ever. Dauberman wrote and executive produced the film's box office-smash sequel, It: Chapter Two, which was released in 2019. Combined, the films earned over $1.1 billion worldwide. Dauberman made his directorial debut with Annabelle Comes Home, while his second directorial effort was an adaptation of King's Salem's Lot, which starred Lewis Pullman and which he also executive produced. Dauberman's banner, Coin Operated, has a first-look deal with Sony and is just as prolific. Earlier this year the company produced Until Dawn, the feature adaptation of the PlayStation game directed by Sandberg based on a script by Dauberman and Blair Butler. Among the projects in development are Urban Legend, a modern era reboot of the Screen Gems 1990s movie of the same name with Shanrah Wakefield set to write the script; Ushers, based on Joe Hill's short story set up at Screen Gems; and a Gargoyles live-action series for Disney+. Dauberman, who was previously with CAA, is currently in post-production producing The Revenge of La Llorona for New Line and an untitled horror film directed by André Ovredal that stars Melissa Leo. He also wrote the script for PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures' film adaptation of Helldivers, based on Arrowhead Game Studios' hugely popular video game franchise that Justin Lin just boarded as director.
