According to local outlet KBTX, Brianna died at a student apartment complex near the university just hours after attending a tailgate party on Friday night. Her death occurred on Saturday morning, just before 1 a.m., per the Austin Police Department. Her cause of death has not been confirmed and will be investigated by the Travis County Medical Examiner. That said, it seems the police believe the student died by suicide.
